The Loudon County Board of Education voted last night July 9, 2020 to approve the district School Reopening Plan. Loudon County students will return to school August 7, 2020. Our number one priority remains the health and safety of our students while being able to provide appropriate academic instruction and meet students’ social-emotional needs. Registration dates for traditional in-person instruction will be communicated by individual schools. All parents opting for Virtual School, an alternate technology-based option with the same expectations as related to instructional time on task, attendance, and grading as in-person learning in a 6.5 hour learning day, must register online by July 17, 2020. The links to both the Reopening Plan and pre-registration for Virtual School can be found on the Loudon County web site.

We have made the tough decision to move all summer camps to a virtually based setting! While there will be no camps taking place inside our school building, we still have some super fun and exciting things planned! Instead, we will have an assortment of videos posting to our LAUNCH Facebook page, YouTube channel, and school website all throughout the month of June! These are open for ALL students and can be viewed whenever from wherever you may be and can be replayed and paused. We will have art, virtual field trip, and gym time just to name a few!
