I am so excited to begin the 2017-2018 school year at Highland Park Elementary School.  I am beginning my third year as principal.  My teaching experiences include: teacher for adult GED classes; CDC teacher for elementary grades; resource teacher for grades kindergarten through second; gifted coordinator for Loudon County Schools; guidance counselor for elementary grades; and a teacher for grades 2, 3, and 4.  All of those experiences have been great learning tools for me.  I have had the opportunity to love and appreciate all students, no matter their strengths or challenges.  We have an excellent staff and community who are dedicated to working with our students at HPE.  As Eagles, we strive to SOAR at all we do!
