We presented Highland Park Elementary with a plaque today for their 2nd place finish in the Large School Division of the 2026 Fittest School Challenge. They also earned $750 toward their Physical Education program.

🎉 **WELCOME TO THE NESTS COMPETITION!**
We are SO excited to kick off our school-wide behavior plan this year! Every class has been assigned to one of **four Nests**, and throughout the year, our Nests will compete to earn points and show off their school-wide pride! 🏆
Nest Points can be earned **ANYTIME, ANYWHERE in the building**—in classrooms, hallways, the cafeteria, bus hall, and everywhere in between! Students will have countless opportunities throughout the day to make positive choices, demonstrate our expectations, and help their Nest earn points!
🏆 At the end of each 9 weeks, we’ll celebrate the **winning Nest** with an EPIC celebration featuring **snow cones and inflatables!** 🍧🛝
Today at our behavior assembly, students learned all about our Nests—and they each received a **special Nest T-shirt in their Nest color!** 👕🪺 Be sure to keep up with those shirts ALL YEAR LONG! We’ll have special Nest days throughout the school year when students will be asked to wear their shirts.
We can’t wait to watch the **friendly competition, school spirit, and positive behavior** unfold throughout the year! Let the Nest Games begin! 🪺🏆🎉
