
Gabe was our guest announcer this morning. March is International Listening Awareness month so our Words of Wisdom focused on that theme. He quoted from Winnie the Pooh, "If the person you are talking to doesn't appear to be listening, be patient. It may simply be that he has a small piece of fluff in his ear."

Good afternoon, Eaton families! Here is your Monday Minute for the week of March 18th. We hope everyone had a relaxing spring break.
1. On Thursday report cards will be sent home with a “Summer Reading Skills” flyer with programs being offered by the University of Tennessee.
2. Art to Remember flyers were sent home before spring break. In order to get free shipping, you must submit your orders by Friday. Email wigginsl@loudoncounty.org if you have any questions.
3. The State of Tennessee has initiated a School-Based Dental Prevention Program. In your child’s backpack you should receive a flyer regarding the program. We have also attached it to the Monday Minute email and on our website. https://5il.co/2gr3g . We will be working with Tina Thompson for the dental sealants program. 4. Easter Break will be March 29 - April 1st and we will not have school.

6. Repeat: Our next PTO and Family Engagement event will be a “Multicultural Family Night” on April 12th. On Tuesday, during in-service, our staff participated in CPR, AED, and Stop the Bleed training. Thank you Mr. Lowery for taking time to train our entire staff.


3rd grade had a wonderful musical performance yesterday based on Aesop's fables. Thank you Mrs. Land and 3rd grade.









Ryan did a superb job as our guest announcer this morning. He got everyone excited about the fortune cookie 🥠 at lunch today.


Tomorrow is the last day to play games and earn prizes for National School breakfast week. Congratulations to Karson for being today's winner!

Mrs. Humphrey’s Pre-K is having fun, using a multitude of materials to review letters and sounds, while practicing their communication skills on this rainy day. ☔️

Good afternoon, Eaton families! Here is your Monday Minute for the week of March 4th.
1. We do not have school tomorrow.
2. As we celebrate Read Across America week we have two more dress up days this week. Wednesday (3/6) will be hat day. Thursday (3/7) will be favorite character day.
3. Thursday (3/7) we will have Kona Ice on site as a incentive to celebrate the end of the 3rd grading term. Students can get shaved ice for $3.00. Your teacher child's sent flyers home last week.
4. Thursday (3/7) will also be the 3rd grade musical at Central United Methodist Church at 6:30. We hope you will join us. Students arrive at 6:00 but parents will not be allowed into the sanctuary until 6:20.
5. Friday (3/8) will be the end of term 3, spring individual pictures, and College and Career Day. We are asking students to dress for an interview and 3rd and 4th grade will have a career fair that afternoon.
6. Next week is Spring Break, March 11-15.
